This is How Many Nuts You Should Really Be Eating Per Day
Nuts are always the top healthy snack options because nuts are mouth-watering and bring many health benefits to our body. But, if you’re confused about the correct serving size of nuts, don’t worry because you’re not alone!
Here’s the Recommended Serving of Nuts Per Day:
1 serving size of nuts is ¼ cup or a handful, which is about 30 grams per day.
You can measure the approximate amount which fills the center of the palm of a medium adult hand. It is best to spread this throughout the day and add it to a healthy trail mix or baking products.
However, whole nuts are not recommended for children aged 3 or under due to potential choking problems. Parents may replace it with nut butter or nut pastes instead of whole nuts.
Since nuts have different content of calories, protein, fiber, vitamins, and other nutrients, you should be careful about not exceeding the recommended amount. Due to its high-calorie content, it is important to eat nuts in moderation to prevent weight gain.
